About Dan
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Dan Buckley has been shooting across the globe since 2009 —from fashion capitals NYC, LA, Paris, and London to the scenic landscapes of Egypt, New Zealand, Sweden, and Alaska. Dan’s lens has captured some of the world's most iconic landmarks, including the Great Pyramids, the Eiffel Tower, and the Tower of London. He is among the rare few photographers who have orchestrated daring, unconventional fashion shoots in the Paris Catacombs and the sacred inner circle of Stonehenge.
His work has appeared in (614) Magazine, The Columbus Dispatch, Columbus Monthly, and a wide range of other outlets. He has also brought his expertise as a still photographer to several film sets.
Driven by his passion for visual storytelling, Dan naturally transitioned into cinematography. His reel includes promotional videos for the Columbus Symphony, a dynamic brand film with UFC legend Matt Brown, and an international project for Field of Gems Jewelry, filmed across London, Paris, and Cairo, and featured in Us Weekly.
Dan’s diverse production background extends beyond the camera lens. He has worked on popular shows like Restaurant: Impossible, Death Row Stories, and Big Rig Bounty Hunters. He served as talent assistant to Kelly Clarkson on the Emmy award-winning docu-reality series Who Do You Think You Are? and was a casting assistant for the Oscar-winning film Captain Phillips.
